Goofy Cousins

This weekend, we went down to Wichita to spend time with family.  Cousin Braedon has taken quite a shining to Stella and usually takes any opportunity to hold her.  Here's Braedon goofing around with his cousin and Grammy while sporting a sweet forearm tat and Groucho Marx disguise:

P.S. - The bib that Stella has on in this picture is by far my favorite.

Happy Valentine's Day!

As usual, Megan went a bit overboard to make another holiday memorable for Stella.  My parents came up the previous weekend so we could go out to dinner and bowling (I won), but today was all about Stella.  To quote Megan, "I didn't know that I could ever love something so much.".  Here she is all decked out in her "bee mine" t-shirt surrounded by her Valentine's Day loot:

Touchdown

As I previously mentioned, Stella couldn't quite touch the floor from her bouncer.  Well, just a couple weeks later, she's put on the weight and the length to reach the floor.  She loves bouncing around with the vertical control this contraption gives here that she normally wouldn't have.

Stella and Ember

Stella is fascinated by Ember.  She will watch her walk back and forth in front of her with a big smile on her face.  Ember is very good around her so far, even with Stella pawing around her face.  Stella has even managed to treat Ember with what resembles some form of petting.  Today, we decided to give Stella a ride since she is growing so fast and will probably outweigh the 20lb Ember in no time.

Border War

This is the last year that the University of Missouri traitors are in the Big 12 conference.  Missouri and Kansas have been long time rivals with a history dating back to the Civil War, so the remaining games between Kansas and Missouri have been hyped up quite a bit.

Unfortunately, a lot of Megan's family are Missouri fans (or "Mizzou" fans as the illiterate prefer to refer to them as).  Megan's cousin, Brett, is an actual student at Missouri and gave us a gag gift of Missouri onesies when we went down to Missouri for a baby shower.  Today, since we are playing basketball at Missouri, Megan decided to put her own twist on the onesie shown in the picture to the left.

Unfortunately, we still lost :(.  There's always the home game coming up...
